In the context of religions, angels are spiritual beings created by God to carry out his work and interact with humans. Their name is gotten from the Hebrew word “Melakh” which means divine messenger. They’re commonly portrayed as human-like creatures with wings, although some traditions also describe them as spirits or pure energy that takes on a humanoid form.

According to religious beliefs, angels serve one purpose: To act as messengers of God’s will for a variety of tasks, including helping humans and protecting them from harm. Some people believe angels can be invoked for protection or guidance, others think they may exist only in our imagination. They are also used for protection by everyone including religious people and occultists alike. To know more check out our article on “ARCHANGELS

Angels are spiritual beings who carry out the work of God and interact with humans. They were created before humans and have a role in God’s plan for His creation. These heavenly messengers serve as intermediaries between God and humanity, helping us to see and understand what He has done for us on earth. You might be surprised to learn that angels are mentioned in the Old and New Testaments, as well as in the Quran.

The Bible refers to angels in several ways: “ministering spirits,” “heavenly host,” “the angel of the Lord,” “messenger(s)” (e.g., Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:19), or simply as “angel(s)” (e.g., Genesis 19:15). They appear in various forms—human-like (Genesis 18), animal-like (Acts 10), or invisible spirit beings (1 Samuel 29). The Bible also indicates that there are different ranks among angels, from those who stand before God’s throne to others who guard over nations or individuals like Daniel in Babylonian captivity (Daniel 10).

Angel’s main purpose is to serve God and the divine

Angels are portrayed as human-like creatures with the main purpose of serving God and the divine. Angels have a gender, form, and spiritual nature which separates them from humans and demons.

Angels do not possess a physical body as they don’t have to eat or sleep in order to survive. They also don’t feel sensations such as pain or hunger (although they may be able to experience these things if they visit earth). Some people believe angels are made from the highest aspect of air elements.
