Kundalini awakening definition
Kundalini awakening describes an intense spiritual experience, or series of experiences, that takes place when life force energy is released from the bottom of the spine and travels upward through the chakras. It is definitely your life force energy.
Kundalini awakening is the process of using your mind and body to cleanse yourself of negative energies and stimulate your chakras. Kundalini awakening can be triggered by yoga or meditation, but it’s also a natural occurrence that happens in certain people at specific stages during their lives.
The release of kundalini has been known to cause intense physical sensations throughout one’s body as well as profound mental changes; however, there are no side effects associated with kundalini awakening because it’s simply a natural part of being human.
Kundalini awakening can be dangerous if not prepared for. You should consider seeking out a mentor or teacher who has experience with kundalini awakenings, and who can help guide you through the process and prepare you for what comes next.
What causes a kundalini awakening
In the spiritual and yogic traditions, Kundalini awakening is a natural process of the body and mind. It is not just a physical experience; it is not just an emotional experience; it’s not just a mental experience either. It’s actually all three of them at once.
- After years of developing a spiritual practice like Kundalini yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and chanting mantras, a Kundalini awakening can occur. But that’s okay because it can also occur naturally without any training.
- Trauma or pain can also trigger something deep in our subconscious to awaken our kundalini. Some people go through the experience of losing a loved one or almost losing their own lives. Such tragic events can lead them to seek the deeper meaning of life and their purpose.
Kundalini awakening is something that we can feel in our bodies all the time—and yet most people never recognize it because they are so used to being disconnected from their bodies that they don’t know what feelings are supposed to be normal for them anymore.
The ability to feel the energy in your body and recognize when something feels “off” helps you communicate with yourself about what’s happening inside your own body during kundalini awakening so that you can take action to support yourself through this process
Signs of kundalini awakening
As your Kundalini awakens, you may notice some or all of the following physical symptoms:
- Increased creativity: You may feel the urge to create, it could be art, music, or anything you feel like. You’ll also be interested in trying new things.
- Increased consciousness: A deeper level of awareness and purpose in life is definitely associated with a kundalini awakening.
- Increased synchronicities: Divine alignment and seeing repeating numbers are signs you’re going through an awakening.
- Spiritual enlightenment: A kundalini awakening’s end goal is spiritual enlightenment, where an individual starts undergoing their self-discovery journey.
- You experience a transcendent spiritual connection with the Divine.
- You develop Psychic gifts and/or extrasensory perception (ESP).
- Seeing snakes in your dream or visions is one way our subconscious mind alerts us
It’s important to note that a kundalini awakening can be extremely intense depending on how each individual awakens it. Improper kundalini awakening is also associated with chakra blockages. Below are some of the effects when kundalini is awoken roughly
- Improper sleeping patterns
- Moments of ego death that happen to you suddenly and unexpectedly
- It can impact your mental health negatively causing things like anxiety and depression.
- You feel your body vibrate, tremble, or electrify intensely.
The benefit of kundalini awakening
Kundalini awakening is the process of opening up your chakras, which are energy centers in your body. By opening up these chakras, you will experience many benefits such as cleansing of your body, spiritual enlightenment, and more.
A kundalini awakening takes place when a person cleanses themselves enough that they’re able to unlock their full potential as human beings. Kundalini awakening has been described as a deep state of bliss that leads to mental clarity, leaving you feeling emotionally balanced and physically healthy.
The process of kundalini awakening can take anywhere between several months and years. To make sure your body is ready for this process, it’s important that you cleanse yourself first with yoga and meditation. Once your mind and body are cleansed, you’ll be able to experience what a kundalini awakening feels like.
Kundalini awakening vs Spiritual awakening
There are many similarities between kundalini awakening and spiritual awakening. But there are also some key differences, which will be discussed in this article.
Kundalini Awakening is associated more with the physical experience that happens in the body. It can be experienced as intense heat or tingling sensations, and it may cause a feeling of expansion throughout your body. It’s similar to having an orgasm, but it’s not sexual pleasure.
Spiritual Awakening is more about your state of mind, it’s when you’re able to transcend your ego and tap into higher states of consciousness (like love). This can bring about feelings of bliss, clarity, and peace—but you don’t have to experience these things for them to count as spiritual awakenings.
How to handle kundalini awakening
One of the most common questions I’m asked is: “How do I handle my Kundalini Awakening?”
I’ll start by telling you that it’s a normal, natural process that cannot be avoided. As we evolve spiritually, our body begins to awaken in order to support and guide us on this journey. The awakening can be quite overwhelming and lead to some really crazy experiences as we navigate our new state of being.
- Meditate daily.
- Practice mindfulness daily
- Practice gratitude
- Practice kundalini yoga
- Have plenty of rest and sleep
- Drink alkaline or spring water
- Get enough sunlight, it’s a good source of vitamin D.
Kundalini awakening and Semen retention
Kundalini is also called the life force energy located at the base of the spine and in men it represents the semen or sperm which is also known as the life force energy.
Retaining semen instead of releasing it, is a secret well-known and used by powerful men. Many ancient kings, monks, and men these days practice semen retention as this is the male’s sacred and potent life force energy. It raises up the spine leading to spiritual enlightenment and increased consciousness.
We have written an entire article on it click here “SEMEN RETENTION” to find out more.
Conclusion
I hope this article has helped you understand what kundalini awakening is, how it affects your body and mind, and how you can handle it. It’s important to remember that a kundalini awakening is a gift—one that many people never receive in their lifetimes. If something like this has happened to you, take some time to process what happened before moving forward with any actionable steps toward self-improvement.
